Telegraph at the weekend had an interesting article with Julie Burchill about the new book she's writing about how much she loves the Jewish faith/people (illustrated with a gorgeous photo of Elizabeth Taylor). I was just transferring some files for floppy disk to CD and I came across some photos I used for my zine Bambi (I did 6 issues of this zine back in the 90s and it was under the tagline All Rock & Roll is Homosexual - a zine about everything homoerotic/androgynous in rock music)

Happy New year to everyone. 2007 was still a bit of a mixed bag for me. I increased my hours at work and I thought that would go well but sadly personal/health problems have led to a lot of ups & downs and time off work but hopefully I'll be able to get that sorted out soon. I got a bunch of magazines in town today when I went in to get my shopping. I got the latest Plan B with Electrelane and CocoRosie, it did have a really good article on the underground tape swapping network of the late 70s/early 80s. I've had nearly a week off and I haven't done half the things I meant to do, although I have done a bit more on my fanzine project but I've still got a long way to go on it. It's very cold and I'm starting to get quite bad cramps so I'm a little bit grumpy but I know I can watch Masterchef while I have my tea then have a bath a bit later.
